I’m going to be honest with you.

This program has been hard for me to write and not for the reasons you might think.  I’m very familiar with the “mechanics” of intuition. I know they can be taught, and I know how to teach them.  Most people who know me would describe me as highly intuitive if not psychic. The reason it’s been challenging is because as much as I use my intuition to navigate my work and life every single day, I’ve never been one to be out and proud about it.  I shy away from the term psychic.  It makes me squirm.  Sometimes I hide. Even as a child I had a sense that my intuition made me different than other people.  Let’s face it, being different, even for all the right reasons, isn’t always awesome.  As an adult what I’ve come to understand is I’m not different.  I’m just more practiced.

I’ve often wondered if life would have been easier if I didn’t see the world they way I do. Sometimes it’s overwhelming.  I’ve even wondered why anyone would want to be intuitive, and yet I would never give it up.  I’d be flying blind.  About a year ago I was in a car accident that resulted in a severe concussion.  I was quite literally brain damaged.  I couldn’t remember my own middle name or my son’s birthday.  I couldn’t remember where places were I’d gone to for years.  It was really scary.  However, what was even more terrifying was for several weeks completely lost all access to my intuition.  I felt like I’d lost my sight.  I felt utterly and completely handicapped.  The world was a very frightening place without it.

I’m uncomfortable with the commercialization of intuitive practices.  I take everything anyone who claims to be a psychic says with a grain of salt.  A lot of people are unethical with intuitive information they do get.  A lot of people are out right quacks.  And yet, I know I have access to a field of information that most people don’t see or hear, not because they can’t, but because they don’t know how to get there.  People ask me all the time how I know the things I know.  It’s not that magical.

I will admit, some people seem to have more natural intuitive abilities than others.  However, for the most part we’re all playing on a level field.  It’s just that some of us have practiced tapping in and built those muscles more consistently than others.  I am one of the lucky ones.  Not because I’ve got some unusual natural gift, but because my mother highly valued intuition.  Intuition was unquestioned law in my house growing up.  I was never trained out of what comes naturally to us.  Regretfully, that’s uncommon.  Most people are trained at very early age to override their intuition in favor of logic.  Those are two very different paths.  Logic and intuition often go in opposite directions.

I was talking with a friend today who asked me if I tell my clients in advance that I use intuition in my sessions and the answer is NO.  I don’t.  However, I do use intuition in my work, in every session I do with my clients.  Most of them know that and have come to expect it.  Then my friend wondered if by not acknowledging my intuition I might be stunting it.  I don’t think I could stunt or diminish my intuition even if I wanted to.  In fact, to be honest, I’ve tried.  It doesn’t work.  If I didn’t talk about seeing, I wouldn’t see any less.  Intuition is quite literally the sixth sense.  It’s no less present or concrete than touch, taste, sight, smell, sight, or hearing.

I don’t think intuition is something you develop as much as it’s something you accept.  It’s happening all the time.  Chances are you’re following it more than you’re aware.  Awareness is the key.  The only thing you need to develop is a willingness to leave logic at the door and follow the nudges of the unseen and the seemingly  irrational.  You can’t rationalize intuition.

Intuition ties you into a sense of ease and peace. It keeps you connected to a flow of energy that’s gentle but fast moving.  When you’re connected your logical mind has plenty of bandwidth to do all the things it was intended to do.  However, when you’re disconnected from your intuition your logical mind gets overwhelmed trying to manage things it was never engineered to have to deal with and you feel that overwhelm intensely.  That explains why so many of us are overwhelmed so much of the time and can’t shake it.  Following your intuition might be the highest and most sacred form of self care.

Intuition isn’t about party tricks.  It’s not a show.  It’s not about lottery numbers or reading minds.  It’s about the truth and truth is very fluid, from person to person and moment to moment.  So intuition is never a fixed.  It’s always moving.  The rational mind likes things that hold still and stay the same.  However, once you are willing to let go of the rational you might not be able to read minds per say, but you will be able to read other people and develop an uncanny ability to predict what’s likely coming next.

Here’s what we’ll cover in this course:

  • What intuition really is and what all the psychic terminology really means
  • How to actually hear the voice that knows everything you need to know.
  • How to know if what you’re sensing is intuition or fear.
  • How to manage energy hygiene so you aren’t overwhelmed by too much information or energy.
  • How to assemble your team of guides and unseen helpers and work with them on a daily basis.
  • How to crack the door of your intuition with training tools like the Tarot or pendulums.
  • How to sense and read other people and places.
  • The do’s and don’ts for an intuitive.

We will have lots of opportunities to practice and play.  Most of all, I will be completely transparent with my experiences and share everything I know about how to live in harmony with your sixth sense, in whatever form it shows up.

So, if you’re ready for a walk with the unseen buckle up.  This is going to be a wild ride of the very best kind!
